Anytime Touchdown Scorers – Week 2 (Thursday Night Football)

All in all, a great start to the season with some very nice profit. Although I can’t help but feel the decent week could have been so much bigger, what with Jason Witten getting pushed out on the 1 yard line, A.J. Brown dropping the ball in the back of the end-zone, and Adrian Peterson losing a goal-line carry to rookie D’Andre Swift despite receiving the bulk of the carries. Not to mention James Conner getting injured in the 1st quarter.

Anyway, onto Week 2, which begins with the Cleveland Browns hosting the Cincinnati Bengals.

Game: Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
Kick-Off: 01:20 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Nick Chubb
Best Odds: 1.93 with Betfair
Next Best: 1.83 with Several
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 1.73
Comment: “Unfortunately, with the Ravens racking up the points the Browns had to move away from Chubb, despite averaging 6 yards a carry against a stingy Baltimore defence. This week both he and the Browns face far easier opposition, and with both Geno Atkins and Mike Daniels missing from the middle of the defence I fully expect Chubb to have a big night. The Bengals allowed a league high 148.9 yards per game on the ground last season.”

Game: Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
Kick-Off: 01:20 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: A.J. Green
Best Odds: 3.40 with Unibet
Next Best: 3.25 with Will Hill
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 3.00
Comment: “If it wasn’t for a ticky tacky call in the end-zone Green would have already registered his first score of 2020. Whilst Joe Burrow looked good, I wouldn’t say he looked great, but as I mentioned on twitter the Chargers have possibly the best bunch of cornerbacks in the NFL. He should have far more joy against a Browns secondary that’s a little banged up right now. The former Georgia Bulldog has scored 63 times in 112 starts, scoring 7 times in 13 meetings with their AFC North foe, making odds over 2/1 a little on the big side.”

As per usual, stake 3% of your starting bankroll onto each selection.

For those of you who prefer a points system, start with an initial betting bank of 100 points, and stake 3 points per selection.
