Anytime Touchdown Scorers – (Week 3)

Game: Chicago Bears @ Atlanta Falcons
Kick-Off: 18:00 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Todd Gurley
Best Odds: 2.50 with Will Hill
Next Best: 2.00 with Several
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 1.91
Comment: “Yep, I’m still on the Todd Gurley wagon. Despite the Falcons scoring 39 points last week he was unable to find the end-zone. He faces a Bears defence that is currently surrendering 4.5 yards per carry, and really struggled to stop the Lions on opening weekend. With Julio Jones looking doubtful, the Falcons may need to rely on Gurley, especially his catching ability a little more this week.”

Game: Houston Texans @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Kick-Off: 18:00 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: James Conner
Best Odds: 2.40 with Unibet
Next Best: 2.10 with Several
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 1.91
Comment: “After disappointing us in week 1, Conner did find pay-dirt last Sunday, as he was actually able to stay healthy for an entire game! He faces a Texans defence that has been terrible against the run, allowing 5.6 yards a carry, and clearly misses big D.J. Reader in the middle.”

Game: San Francisco 49ers @ New York Giants
Kick-Off: 18:00 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Darius Slayton
Best Odds: 3.50 with Bet365
Next Best: 3.40 with Several
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 2.88
Comment: “The 49ers have been decimated by injury, especially on defence, with All-Pro corner Richard Sherman sat on IR, they have nobody that can match-up with Slayton.  Despite not being a high draft pick, Slayton has shown the best rapport with Daniel Jones, and with Sterling Shepherd ruled out, he will be targeted early and often. With his speed, he’s a threat to score from anywhere on the field.”

Game: Tennessee Titans @ Minnesota Vikings
Kick-Off: 18:00 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Dalvin Cook
Best Odds: 2.00 with Will Hill
Next Best: 1.83 with Betfred
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 1.72
Comment: “The Vikings have taken a massive backward step so far this season, and if they don’t win this week, it would make it very difficult for them to get back into the playoff hunt. Cook faces a surprisingly soft Titans run defence that is allowing over 5 yards a carry in the first two weeks. Cook is very much the bell-cow of the offence, and should get plenty of touches if the Vikings are to try and keep this one close.”

Game: Washington Football Team @ Cleveland Browns
Kick-Off: 18:00 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Terry McLaurin
Best Odds: 3.10 with Unibet
Next Best: 2.90 with Several
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 2.60
Comment: “For me this guy could be the best young receiver in the NFL, unfortunately he plays for Washington, and pretty much has gone unnoticed thus far in his career. The Browns have already given up 6 passing scores this season. With 8 scores in 16 career starts, odds around 2/1 look very good indeed.”

Game: Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks
Kick-Off: 21:25 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Dak Prescott
Best Odds: 6.00 with Will Hill
Next Best: 4.33 with Several
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 4.00
Comment: “I’ll keep this very simple. Dak not only scored 3 times last week, he has 24 rushing touchdowns in 66 starts making odds of 5/1 absolutely crazy! ”

Game: Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks
Kick-Off: 21:25 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Ezekial Elliott
Best Odds: 1.91 with Will Hill
Next Best: 1.62 with Sky Bet
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 1.61
Comment: “It’s been another solid start to the season for Zeke racking 185 yards and 3 scores. He does face a very strong Seahawks run defence, but their pass defence has been torn apart by both the Falcons and Patriots. So, if the Cowboys can fling the ball downfield, it should afford Zeke even more opportunities to ‘feed’.”

Game: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Denver Broncos
Kick-Off: 21:25 GMT
Market: Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Selection: Mike Evans
Best Odds: 2.62 with Will Hill
Next Best: 2.40 with Several
Lowest Acceptable Odds: 2.25
Comment: “Whilst the 49ers have been destroyed by injuries, the Broncos aren’t exactly far behind having already lost their best defensive player, their best wide-receiver, and their starting quarter-back. The Bucs have looked far from a power house on offence, but Brady knows he can always rely on Mike Evans. With Chris Harris in Los Angeles I really think they’re going to struggle to contain Evans, especially in the corner of the end-zone.”

As per usual, stake 3% of your starting bankroll onto each selection.

For those of you who prefer a points system, start with an initial betting bank of 100 points, and stake 3 points per selection.
