Spread and Totals Selections – Week 9

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Saints +4.5 @ 1.91 with Paddy Power

Everyone seems to be raving about the Bucs, but very little has been said about the Saints, yet they sit at 5-2 having played the majority of the season without Michael Thomas. The defence has begun to show improvements after a slow start to the season, with Marcus Davenport starting to live up to his 1st round billing. I’m not saying that this won’t be a close contest, but I feel giving the Saints a 4.5 point head start is far too generous to pass up. New Orleans has only lost once by more than 3 points in their last 16 regular season road games.

Chicago Bears at Tennessee Titans – Bears +6.5 @ 1.91 with Paddy Power

Da Bears have been undervalued pretty much every week so far this season, mainly based upon the ineptitude of the offence, as the defence is still one of the best in the NFL against both the run and the pass. For the Titans, it was strong start to the season, but their weaknesses on defence have been exposed by the Steelers and Bengals in recent weeks. Luckily for Nick Foles an injury to Micthell Trubisky affords him a couple more starts before he gets the old heave-ho. I don’t see the Bears claiming victory, but they should at least be able to keep it close.

Totals

Seahawks at Bills – Under 55 points

Raiders at Chargers – Under 52.5 points

All selections are advised at 1 point each, with a 100 point bankroll.
