Kansas City Chiefs at Miami Dolphins – Dolphins +7.5 @ 1.91 with Paddy Power
It’s very difficult to go against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, but they face a surprising Dolphins squad that’s lead by a defence that has assumed 21 takeaways, 2nd best in the NFL. For me the move to start Tua still doesn’t make sense as Fitzmagic gives them the best chance to progress into the playoffs. Having Miles Gaskin (who has since been ruled out due to a positive Covid test) back in the line-up should allow the Dolphins to establish some sort of running game that can help to take the pressure off Tua, giving him opportunities to hit either Devante Parker or Mike Gesicki on those key 3rd downs. You don’t really stop the Chiefs offence, but the Dolphins have enough pieces on defence to at least disrupt Mahomes and potentially contain both Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.
