New York Giants at Washington Football Team – Giants +4.0 @ 1.91 with Will Hill (back down to +3.5)
It was a bad start to the season for both sides, as they failed to win at home on opening day. Especially bad for Washington as they lost starting Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to a hip injury, which is set to sideline him for the next 8 weeks. From what I’ve seen of Taylor Heinicke he looks serviceable enough but faces a tough Giants front 3. The same could be said for Daniel Jones, who just can’t seem to eliminate those costly turnovers. However, the Giants do at least possess a considerable number of threats on the outside which will cause Washington’s nickel and dime corners some match-up problems. The Giants have owned the head-to-head in recent years winning 6 of the last 7 encounters which includes 3 games in Washington. Expect defences to be at the fore, with the Giants potentially sneaking a surprise victory, IF Daniel Jones can hang on to the dang ball!
